Biographies
Dee Gopal, Deputy Director, Security Strategy & Culture, The Open University
As Deputy Director for Security Strategy & Culture in information security at The Open University, Dee operates at a strategic level to increase cyber resilience across the institution whilst reducing cyber risk. Dee is especially interested in the human factor in cyber security and the Open University’s current programmes tackle cyber behaviours and cyber hygiene. Their aim is to embed security best practice into daily routines and make cyber security second nature and an enabler.
Whilst being accountable for delivering university-wide cyber educational programmes, Dee directs multiple cyber engagement initiatives, interactive innovations and immersive events, across two diverse stakeholders: staff cyber awareness training programmes and student cyber advice and guidance.
She also oversees the university’s cyber security community of practice, bringing together colleagues from across all university functions to discuss and champion cyber security. Dee believes that security is everyone’s responsibility.

Donna is passionate about demystifying cyber security with energy and fun, ensuring that it resonates with everyone.
Donna is the driving force behind Belron’s global cyber security training and awareness programme. As the world leader in vehicle glass repair, replacement, and recalibration, Belron benefits from Donna’s expertise in making cyber security accessible and engaging for everyone.
Since stepping into this role in 2021, Donna has leveraged her extensive background in communication, having worked with both global and UK government teams. She has a proven track record of implementing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives that inspire and engage employees and stakeholders. Her deep understanding of audience psychology and behaviour change is instrumental in her current role.
